Holmesburgs Junior Division teaches youngsters firearm safety and marksmanship.  We have NRA certified instructors who follow the NRA  four position small-bore rifle program.    Firearm safety is the first and most important lesson that is taught.   The 4 position program teaches target rifle shooting in the prone, sitting, kneeling, and standing positions.  This program is for those 12-18 year olds, who join Holmesburg as junior members.  The fee is only five dollars per year. We supply all the necessary equipment. We meet on Tuesday nights starting at 7:00 in the indoor range.   We also give instructions, for those who qualify, in skeet and trap shooting.  This activity takes place on Friday nights, as schedules and weather permit.   For more information, contact Tim Anderson at  (267) 596-3081 Remember, we meet every Tuesday night at 6:45, and new shooters are always welcome. Junior shooters may join as junior members if they are between the age of 12 and 18 years old. He is a very tallented skeet shooter, and the first to achive this award in many years.
